General Information
 
Competitors compete across three disciplines in tournamnets. They are 
1. Wake Slalom
2. Tricks
3. Jump.
 
Wake Slalom consists of two 15 second passes where skiers attempt to cross from one side of the wash to the other as many times as possible. One of the passes is in the forward position and the other in the backward position with advanced skiers completing crosses on one foot.
 
Tricks consist of two 15 second passes where skiers do as many tricks in that time as possible.
Beginner tricks consist of: One foots, Rope on toes, Tumble turns.
Advanced tricks performed by the top competitors today include 720o turns, toe 180o turns, line steps and even somersaults.
 
Jump consists of skiers being towed over a small fibre glass jump and skiing away after landing on feet. In tournaments skiers are given three attempts with the longest jump recorded.
